How to setup Okta Verify with a service/shared account
For the owner/main user of a service/shared account - you will need to setup Okta Verify exactly as you did for your own Ray White account
(enrollment video available here)
More than one person needs to access my service/shared account - what do I do?
Each person who wants to login will need to setup the service/shared account on Okta Verify.
You can do this directly in the Okta Verify app by following the below steps:
Open Okta Verify on your mobile phone
Click the + in the top right hand corner
On the ‘Choose account type’ screen - select Organization
On the ‘Add account from another device?’ screen - select Skip
On the ‘Do you have your QR code?’ screen - select No, sign in instead
On the ‘Enter your organization’s sign-in URL’ screen - type raywhite
On the ‘Okta/Ray White Sign in Page’ - enter your service/shared account email (eg receptionoffice@raywhite.com)
NOTE: Before continuing to the next step - make sure the owner/main user of the account has their phone ready as they will need to accept a push notification, or give you a code to continue
On the ‘Verify it’s you with a security method’ page - select Get a push notification
The owner/main user will need to accept the push notification on their device
On the ‘Verify with your password’ screen - enter the service/shared account password and click Verify
On the Okta Verify ‘Making signing in easier’ screen - select Got it and then Allow
On the ‘Enable screen lock confirmation?’ screen - select Not now
That’s it - you will now be able to log in to your service/shared account using Okta Verify
